Broughton Poggs & Filkins Gardens

Finally a dryish day for a garden visit. 5 members made their way to these 12 Open Gardens. The day was warm but overcast, just right for viewing gardens.

We met at the Mill – a lovely garden with the stream running through it. Then made our way through most of the gardens, missing out on the Allotments.

We then worked along the street viewing gardens, passing the pub – The Three Alls! Jean and Anne returned to the village hall for tea, pausing to buy plants, while the others finished off the last gardens.

It started to drizzle as we made our way homewards – a very good day.
