Some of us are still managing to meet in small groups. We have also had a few zoom sessions.
We are a lively group of WI (and non-WI) knitters and crocheters who meet each month on the 1st Monday in the afternoon, and the 3rd Wednesday in the evening. In the summer months of June, July and August we have just one meeting a month alternating between Monday and Wednesday. We take it in turn to meet in each other’s houses and put 50p in the pot each time.
Patterns are swapped, techniques discussed and the range of experience and skill varies from beginner to veteran! There is always someone to help choose a pattern or get you back on track.
Periodically we hire the Church Room (using money from the pot) for a more specialised session – or at Christmas a social gathering involving more supping of mulled wine than knitting – cake features at any meeting!
Every now and then we trek off to a Wool Fair or a local online shop open day.
See the diary for more details on dates and venues. All are welcome to join us by contacting current leader Annie Brooker by email- firstname.lastname@example.org
